Welcome to my Healing-brush tutorial.i made the pictures about 20 minutes ago, and my second sample has a small part of my first sample, because i used only one palette. Using the healing brush tool may be tricky at times, but is highly helpful when deleting parts of an image, and masking it to look good. With the healing brush tool, you will have to define a point of 'brushing', which will be explained soon. I hope you have fun trying this, and ofcourse, as all my tutorials are, this one's made for and in Photoshop. Good luck Heal-brushing . I'll be here all week . i'll also take requests, so feel free to ask me anything photoshop-related, [ or give me a pm ] i'll always try to help, depending on if i know or don't know it. Thanks for taking the time and reading this, -Ayron

This is how i prefer to blend, ofcourse, there are other ways as shown on VGBA in kirbylore's amazing tutorial on blending with gradients, but i believe this one's easier for the newcomer. i used these pictures[ i used more for the sample ] background: gamewallpapers.ru/2614-guild_wars_eye_of_the_north-1-h.htmlimage to blend into background: gamewallpapers.ru/2614-guild_wars_eye_of_the_north-2.htmlGood luck. sorry for the typo--this one's soft light mode ^^' here's a sample.[ a very rough one, but it's just to show what you can do with blending ] Thanks for taking the time and reading it. -Ayron

Third Tutorial for ABG Good luck ! oh, and the right part of the picture is for when you lose a color, and so you can look back at the changes. start with a light-brown coloured background. After that, grab the burntool, and follow the settings i used in the following picture. start randomly brushing on the background, make sure it looks a bit authentic, so don't go drawing any smileys or anything . Big large strokes with a soft-edged brush work the best. change to these settings: grab a grungy background, like this one: img358.imageshack.us/img358/42/computerachtergrond2sx.gifand VOILA! there you go ^^' oh, and here's the sample i made. Feel free to make one yourself, as mine is only an example. here's a faded sample [ added layer mask and used a big outer brush on the edges]. this way, it blends in better with dark backgrounds. they're all .PNG, so if you right click > save as it loses the background. Hope i helped, -Ayron
